My name is Tobi Omolere, and I’m a registered public health nurse in the UK. But more importantly, I’m someone who is deeply passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
The specifics of how I got here might be a bit hazy, but one thing has always been clear: I want to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. That’s what led me down the path of becoming a public health nurse.
Working within the healthcare system, I’m surrounded by individuals with a wide range of abilities. It’s this diversity that motivates me every day. I believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, and I’m committed to advocating for those who might face additional challenges in navigating the system.
There’s always more to learn and more ways to improve. My work as a public health nurse is just one piece of the puzzle. I’m constantly seeking out opportunities to champion disability inclusion, whether in my daily interactions or through broader advocacy efforts.
This is just the beginning of my story. I’m excited to see what the future holds and how I can continue to contribute to a more inclusive and equitable world for everyone.
